Work, health and safety From traditional to transformative

Morshona’s holistic approach means we create the right level of oversight and awareness of the true performance of organisational work health and safety. We can help your organisation meet its work health and safety responsibilities, protect your people and profits, and create sustainable, long-term improvements in safety performance.

Safety strategy and Executive coaching

Morshona Safety specialists combine with Morshona Consulting’s Strategy and Operations practice to help you develop a safety strategy that will improve your business outcomes.

In safety, the strategy of an organisation is mostly about reducing incidents. How do we do this? Our approach relies on setting intent, developing a compelling ‘why’ safety message and creating a story that includes everyone in your organisation.

We also provide coaching to promote the types of behaviour that help your organisation influence safety outcomes.

Mock Courts – be the jury

Our team provides interactive and innovative training for business leaders and their teams, led by former WorkCover lawyers. A simulated mock court prosecution will challenge your thinking, push attendees out of their comfort zone, galvanise actions and demonstrate safety management responsibility in a fun and high-impact way.

The objective of the mock court is to provoke people to re-evaluate the priority of safety. It also aims to improve your employees’ understanding of their personal responsibilities in maintaining your organisation’s safety system.

Safety culture

Morshona’s approach to safety centres on culture, reinforced by practical systems and sensible practices. Our specialists conduct safety culture assessments of your organisation then give you practical guidance on how to improve your organisation’s safety performance for increased productivity and better business outcomes.

Safety risk profiling

Morshona recognises that a critical aspect of a safety management system is identifying, assessing and controlling hazards and risks. Our safety risk profiling methodology can help your organisation develop a better understanding of risk exposure – from the top down as well as from the bottom up.

Using risk management tools and information on operational risks, we work with you to determine the risk profile of your organisation. We also develop practice monitoring and reporting mechanisms to ensure that your executives and board understand the full risk landscape for safety, current risks, emerging risks and anticipated risks.

Safety investigations

Morshona safety investigation team comprises professionals, who conduct investigations into critical events and allegations of bullying and harassment to mitigate risks of criminality and to offer advice on preventing reoccurrences.

Our team is known in the market and is frequently hired to perform work under legal privilege to identify the root causes of incidents.

Safety training

Morshona training programs can teach you about your legal and personal safety accountabilities, develop strategies for employees and employers, and inform you about the value of various safety roles.

We have training packages ready to go, including Due Diligence for Officers, Incident Investigation and Analysis, Managing Contractor Risk and many more.

Safety assessment and inspections

Morshona can analyse your safety management systems, processes and culture using industry standards and safety objectives; creating a business case for improvement and a program for change.

We offer you internal audits, compliance audits, site inspections and self-insurance audits. We can also prepare certification, conduct domestic and international standard gap analyses, assess quality management systems, and design and implement policies and procedures.

Safety management system design and implementation

Morshona’s team of safety professionals have significant experience helping organisations work through safety problems, overhaul management systems and understand the risk profile of an organisation.

As organisations focus on understanding and controlling hazards, they often don’t maintain an underlying management system due to perceptions that the system is out of date or doesn’t comply with current standards. This is a risk in itself.
